What are stretch marks?
The American Academy of Dermatology describes stretch marks as a type of scar that can develop when skin stretches or shrinks quickly.
Improvement has limits
Stretch marks are permanent, although treatment may make them less noticeable. There is no promise of complete removal. Choosing whether to explore treatment is a personal decision.
Education is a starting point
The presence of a stretch marks article does not establish a new treatment service at Skin & Tonic Studio. Contact us to discuss whether your goals fit our scope and whether a dermatologist should evaluate your skin first.
